2012 Delaware Invitational College Exposure Tournament General Information Delaware Invitational Tournaments, Inc. will be hosting its 14th Annual 18U ASA Delaware Invitational “College Exposure” Tournament and NFCA Recruiting Camp. Last year, more than 100 college coaches registered and/or received results of the recruiting camp participants and more than 90 attended some portion of the tournament. All of the college coaches had the opportunity to see our young The tournament will be held Friday, July 20th through Sunday, July 21st. Strict ASA Rules will be followed. Each team is guaranteed five games. Each team will play four pool play games and will be seeded for single elimination championship play which will begin Sunday morning. Tournament registration fee is $750.00 per team. The fees will cover umpires, balls, prizes for the winning teams. If you are accepted to this tournament, entry fees are non-refundable. The registration deadline for this year is January 12. Payment is expected with your application. All registrations received by this date will be reviewed by a selection committee and all teams selected will be notified by January 20th. All teams not selected will be mailed their refund. Once all teams are selected they will be posted on the website www.delawareinvitational.org. Tournament is limited to 64 quality teams. We will continually be updating the website with pertinent information regarding the tournament including directions, brackets, lodging, participating teams, attending college coaches, forms required from participating teams, scholarship applications, etc. so please check the site periodically. This year each team attending the tournament will be expected to agree to sell 200 raffle tickets - with proceeds used to fund the McKenzie Travis Softball College Scholarship Fund - before their application can go to the selection committee. This agreement, along with your team composition and a strong record and upcoming schedule will be the major deciding factors of your acceptance into the tournament. Teams attending this tournament are expected to use our tournament housing service, Partners in Team Travel (PITT).
