2010 Delaware Invitational
MEMORIAL DAY TOURNAMENT

General Information

The Memorial Day tournament will be hosted by the Delaware Storm. All ages groups- 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u and 18u are invited.     

The tournament will be held Friday, May 28 through Sunday, May 30, 2010. Friday start will depend on the number of teams applying and Monday will be a rain-date.

Strict ASA Rules will be followed.  Each team is guaranteed five games.  Each team will play four pool play games and will be seeded for single elimination championship play which will begin Sunday morning.  

Tournament registration fee is $525.00 per team.  The fees will cover umpires, balls, prizes for the winning teams, and a portion will be donated to the McKenzie Travis Educational Foundation. This year we are awarding twenty scholarships. Applications will be available on our website by February 15, 2010.  Entry fees are non-refundable.  The registration deadline for this tournament is April 1. Once all teams are accepted they will be posted on the website www.delawareinvitational.org.  Tournament is limited to 64 quality teams.

I would also like to make you aware of our 2010 fundraiser. We are giving away a 2011 Camaro, eight $2,500 cash prizes and more than twenty $2,500 scholarships. This can also be a fundraiser for your team. For each $20 ticket you sell, your team keeps $15 and you send us back $5 with the stub! There is no up-front commitment.

We will continually be updating the website with pertinent information regarding the tournament including: directions, brackets, lodging, participating teams, forms required from participating teams, scholarship applications, etc. so please check the site periodically.
